First update in the new journal. So here goes.
Today's Monday and tomorrow my parents leave for New Jersey until Sunday, so it's just me and Greg at home. Finally, the peace and quiet I need long enough to sit down and put in a few good hours every day on piano. Plus the 500 million other things I need to do. Spending time with Greg and Colin (even though I hardly ever see him) is seriously what keeps me sane these days. I guess I just appreciate how they're both so much older and are actually still willing to spend time with their teenage sister. Thank God for small favors.
Speaking of Colin, we went to Hampton Beach last Wednesday, and had an awesome time. I can safely say I have never played so many pointless arcade games in one day, and I loved it all. Not to mention the new additions to my stuffed animal collection, clearly everybody needs a Goodwrench Service Bear and a fuzzy yellow duck. I also enjoyed the quality time we spent observing the crazy kids DDR-ing in the arcades. The intensity, the intensity. We ate lunch and all, and got caricatures done. Mine is me and my piano on stage, and his is him at the arcade, with his giant neon green dog he won.
I don't think I did too much else worth mentioning last week, partially because I don't have much a life, and partially becase nobody really cares. Same for this week, except for voice on Tuesday, and lots of piano-ing, I've got nothing planned. And the week after is driver's ed, the 15-20, and two days after that is my birthday, which could possibly be interesting. And then soon after that it's back to school, atleast I'll be getting out of the house and have my life back on some sort of schedule.
I was reading livejournals tonight before I updated, and I have come to the conclusion that I have very awesome friends, and I think I would be totally lost and utterly depressed without them. Now it's just a matter of not screwing anything up, and holding on to them all.
I suppose this was a less than satisfactory first entry. Oh well.
